11:15 AM - 1:15 PM

11:15AM-1:15PM: Skills and Drills. A workshop for any one familiar with AKC Rally at any level who is looking to improve their dog's accuracy, teamwork, or stress level at trials. We will cover things like pre-run warm up at shows, practicing and proofing start line behaviors, working your dog with distractions in an adjacent ring, and addressing dogs who "stick" or move slowly on certain exercises. We'll also talk about how to effectively train Rally at home or in a class/match setting instead of just running courses in a "run through" format. While short sequences of coursework may be included, signs will not be explicitly taught - the goal is to add to your toolbox to train for best trial performance and troubleshoot on the fly while you are in the ring.


Price: $50 Working Spot, $25 Auditing Spot.
