9AM Master/Excellent Dual Ring Workshop: We'll have a Master course set up in one ring and an Excellent course set up in the other. Handlers will get to run their choice of course on the first run, while another team is warming up in the adjacent ring. We'll critique each run and break down areas that present themselves to be a challenge. Time permitting, we'll work on ring entries, distractions, and other aspects of being Rally-trial-ready. We'll finish with handlers having another opportunity to run a course. You do not need to be competing at the Master level to participate in this workshop, any team familiar with the Excellent-level signs is enthusiastically welcomed!
Price: $50 Working Spot, $25 Auditing Spot.

11:15AM Skills and Drills REBOOT!: This seminar plays off of the popular Skills and Drills workshop we've run in the past. This Skills and Drills workshop will focus on the behaviors needed for success at all levels of AKC Rally. Emphasis will be placed on breaking signs down to optimize skills, rather than viewing a Rally sign as one continuous behavior - fronts, position changes in heel position and at a short distance, pivots and wait/stays, and circling around the handler are some skills we'll cover. Experienced teams, come take the time to brush up on your skills. New teams, get ready for the challenges that await you in the upper levels of AKC Rally! This is not a workshop for Rally coursework.

1:30PM Teaching Intermediate/Advanced: Perfect for those who have taken our Rally Novice workshops, this workshop will introduce concepts to prepare for successful performance in the AKC Intermediate and Advanced class, including pivots, stands, turns with circles, call to heel, side steps and fronts from a halt. Suggestions for training at home will be incorporated. After covering these behaviors, we will finish with a course, time permitting. Off-leash skills will not be taught in this workshop and dogs do NOT need to be working reliably off leash to attend.

The 4-Ring Picture
Appropriate for any team looking to proof their dog's skills in a progressively busier environment. If you've only ever shown at 1-ring trials, but have aspirations for AKC Rally Nationals (July in Ohio), the AKC RACH Invitational (December in Orlando), or competing at cluster shows or busy breed specialties, come to this workshop and show your dog the "picture" of 4 adjacent rings. In many ways a progression of our popular Skills & Drills workshop, we'll work on ring entries, heeling along ring gates near other dogs, and common distractions at busy shows like spectators, cameras, and distractions in the adjacent rings. This is NOT a workshop for Rally coursework, it is an attention, engagement, and distraction workshop!

Those Pesky Paragraphs
The "Call" signs seen in Master and Excellent are common sources of Incorrect Performance (IP) deductions, and simple things like forgetting a sit or pausing when you shouldn't will cost you high scores, placements, and precious RACH points. We will cover signs 206, 207, 208, 209, 311, 317 and 318 in-depth during our group work and break down the behaviors needed for them. We will then run a Rally course using a number of these signs. This is a workshop for teams presently competing in the upper levels who are looking to improve scores, OR teams at the lower levels looking to get a head-start on the hardest signs awaiting them at the upper levels.
